I used to watch the "new guy", Tomas Busek, when he played for the San Diego Gulls. He's a great technical, Euro style player who can skate, hit, and fight with the best of them. When the team trainers add a little more weight to him he'll be even better! Go get 'em, Tomas! --Forrest, Murrieta, CA.--

Good evening players and fans! I myself am a fan of the new Czech on the team. During his first game on the ice in San Diego he brought so much athletic energy and intensity that you felt like you were at a NHL game. Being the newbie then- he still exerted so much pride and faith in his teammates that it drawn in more and more fans and made the game even that more enjoyable. If they played a home game on a Friday night, you better believe that place filled up quick and friendships were developing left and right throughout the Hockey Fan community. This is why we ARE hockey fans- we are humble, loyal, and at the end of the night we want to see some ass kicking and embrace the talent of these young men. Its amazing how one player alone can affect not only a team, but a hockey community. One of his gifts was the passion and love he had for the sport- when you see him coming to hit you against the boards you better get out of the way cause its not going to be pretty- but you better believe he is going to be offering a hand to help you right back up. From Idaho, to San Diego, to New York and now Mississippi. He has a bright future ahead and it is wonderful he gets to be apart of a team with that same astounding reputation. Im excited to join the River Kings fan base and have confidence you will all be stars one day. Shanahan said it best: Is hockey hard? "I don't know, you tell me. We need to have the strength and power of a football player, the stamina of a marathon runner, and the concentration of a brain surgeon. But we need to put all this together while moving at high speeds on a cold and slippery surface while 5 other guys use clubs to try and kill us, oh yeah did I mention that this whole time we're standing on blades 1/8 of an inch thick? Is ice hockey hard? I don't know, you tell me. Next question." <3, Harriet- Yorkshire, England.
