COLDWATER, Miss.-- RiverKings mascot Sheldon the Turtle caught himself a catfish dinner at the 2014 Outdoor Conservation Kids Camp on June 12.

Campers received a fishing lesson then put their skills to the test in Arkabutla Lake.  After fishing, the campers learned about hockey and scrimmaged as part of the RiverKings “Sticks Are For Kids” program.

“We were very excited to come to the lake today and learn how to fish with Sheldon,” said Camp Director Natalie Bright. “The kids were also excited they were able to play hockey.”

If you would like Sheldon to visit your school or event, please contact Caitlyn Hutchins at Caitlyn@riverkings.com or 662.342.1755.
