RiverThing makes appearance at golf tournament

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings' mascot RiverThing made an appearance Tuesday May, 27 at the 15th annual Miracle Drive Golf Tournament in Tunica, Mississippi.

RiverThing was seen strolling around the clubhouse wishing golfers good luck before they hit the course. He was also seen posing in pictures with fans and even taking a few practice swings himself.

This year marks the 15th year for the Miracle Drive Golf Tournament. Each year the tournament takes place at Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica, Mississippi and all proceeds go to the Baddour Center. The Baddour Center, located in Senatobia, Mississippi, is a residential center for men and woman with special needs where residents live and work on the property.
