America One Sports Network

RIVERKINGS ROLLING: The RiverKings enter this weekend on a six-game winning streak after a pair of wins over the Mississippi Surge and a 4-2 victory in Pensacola this past weekend. Matt Krahn and David Wilson combined to stop 117 of 121 shots against as Krahn extended his personal winning streak to five games. The 'Kings are 5-1-2 in Krahn's last eight starts.

BIG MAC: Good things happen when Mike MacDonald makes his way onto the scoresheet. The RiverKings are 12-6-2 when the veteran center registers a point. The New Glasgow, NS native has 32 points (12G, 20A) in 33 games since joining the RiverKings on December 23.

WE'RE (STILL) STREAKING!: As the 'Kings carry a six-game winning streak into their final regular season game against Knoxville, Matt Whitehead and Mike MacDonald take point streaks into the last weekend. Whitehead's game-winning goal last night extended his streak to 15 games, while MacDonald's assist on Matt Harrington's goal to open the scoring yesterday pushed his streak to seven.

WALL OF KRAHN: With the wins on Friday and Sunday, Matt Krahn improved to 15-13-4 on the season. The rookie from Winnipeg, Man. is 5-0-0 over his last five starts with a 0.98 goals against average and a 97% save percentage.

VIEW FROM KNOXVILLE: The Ice Bears make their first, and only, appearance at the Landers Center on Saturday night. Knoxville comes into this weekend 7-3-0 in their last ten games. Before coming to Southaven, the Ice Bears make a stop in Huntsville on Thursday before their final home game of the regular season against the Havoc on Friday. Knoxville got some offensive support earlier this week after Eric Satim and Jon Higgins were returned on loan from their "AA" teams.

SEASON SERIES: The RiverKings trail Knoxville in the season series 1-3-1 with all games played at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.
