RiverKings Waive Yanovitch

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced Wednesday that the team has released forward Brian Yanovitch.

Yanovitch, 24, appeared in 18 games with the RiverKings, tallying one goal, three assists and two penalty minutes. The 6'0", 200 lbs. forward signed with the RiverKings after a four-year career at Union College and a short stint in the Federal Hockey League. The Mansfield, Mass. native collected 15 points in 56 career collegiate games.

The RiverKings return to home ice on March 23 as they wrap up their regular season against the Knoxville Ice Bears. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. and tickets are available by contacting the Landers Center Box Office or by ordering online at www.ticketmaster.com.
