RiverKings sign Rookie Forward C.J. Hayes to Standard Player Contract

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The RiverKings and Head Coach Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser have announced the signing of rookie forward C.J. Hayes, the team announced Tuesday.
 
Hayes, 22, comes to the RiverKings after spending the past two seasons playing for Lake Superior State University, a Division-I NCAA school. While at Lake Superior State, the Margate, Florida, native tallied four goals and four assists in 55 games played.The 5-foot-8, 163 pound forward played three games with Lake Superior State this season before joining the professional ranks with the RiverKings.
 
The RiverKings occupy first place in the SPHL standings and are back in action this weekend when they take on the Peoria Rivermen for back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday night in Illinois. The team returns to Planters Bank Ice at Landers Center on December 1 and 2 when they take on the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs. For tickets to any RiverKings game visit www.riverkings.com/ticketmaster
