RiverKings Participate in Le Bonheur Cereal Drive

SOUTHAVEN, Miss –  The Mississippi RiverKings are proud to announce their involvement in the 6th annual Le Bonheur Cereal Drive. Early on Friday morning representatives from the RiverKings, as well as RiverThing, stood on the corner of Poplar and Dunlap streets in downtown Memphis collecting money and breakfast cereal donations, all benefitting the Mid-South Food Bank. The Le Bonheur Children's Hospital has sponsored the Cereal Drive for 6 years, and the RiverKings have been present for four consecutive years. Donations in the form of unopened bagged or boxed cereal as well as cash, continue to be collected on the street until 6 pm on Friday, June 2nd. The Le Bonheur Cereal Drive will take place again in 2018 during the final week of May and first week in June.
