RiverKings get Di Salvo back, lose Thomas

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that goaltender Peter Di Salvo has returned from loan to ECHL Fort Wayne and that captain Leo Thomas has been called up by Fort Wayne. There is no timetable for his return.

The Oakville, Ontario native appeared in 12 games with the RiverKings prior to his call up and posted an 8-3-1 record with a league-leading 2.07 goals against average and 93.3 save percentage. Additionally, Luke Kasteel announced his retirement from hockey. He was acquired from the Louisiana IceGators on December 8 and had one goal in 10 games.
