RiverKings Announce Additions to Front Office

SOUTHAVEN, Miss -  The Mississippi RiverKings are proud to announce the hiring of three new staff members and promotions of two others as the team rounds out it front office staff going into the 2017-18 season.

“We’re excited to add these new members to our growing team,” RiverKings General Manager David Schmoll said. “Each one of them brings a unique skill set and have already made an impact.”

From Left to Right: Austin Waldrop, Tyler Butler, Diamond Raybord, Liam WhaleyKari Biggs enters her first season as Corporate Marketing Manager after spending the last 11 months as the team’s Season Ticket Sales and Retention Manager. Before joining the RiverKings, Kari graduated from the University of Northern Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and completed an internship with the SPHL’s Huntsville Havoc.

Tyler Butler is one of three new hires for the RiverKings’ ticket sales staff this summer. A native of Memphis, he comes to Southaven after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Sports Management at the University of Tennessee. He completed several internships in the UT Athletics Marketing Department before joining the RiverKings in June.

Diamond Rayborn begins her first season with the RiverKings as the team’s new Season Ticket Sales and Retention Manager. Diamond joins the team after completing her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at the University of Tennessee. While at UT she worked as an Athletic Recruiting Ambassador for the football program.

Austin Waldrop comes to the RiverKings as a Group Sales Account Executive. Austin brings with him continuous success in various internships and sales positions. He currently attends Regent University.

Liam Whaley joined the RiverKings in April 2017 and spent two months as an intern for the team before accepting a full-time position as Corporate Marketing Manager. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Liam is continuing his education at the University of Memphis working toward his Masters in Sports Commerce.

The RiverKings begin their 26th season of professional hockey on October 20th vs. the Knoxville IceBears. Ticket packages are available now by visiting http://www.riverkings.com/familypacks.
