Mantha rejoins RiverKings for playoff push

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that forward Devin Mantha has been returned from call-up to ECHL Norfolk and will rejoin the team tonight in Fayetteville for their game against the FireAntz.

Mantha, 27, returns to the RiverKings after spending 26 games with ECHL Norfolk where he posted five goals and five assists. In 21 games with the RiverKings prior to his call-up, the third-year professional had seven goals and 12 assists and was +9. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Ann Arbor, Michigan native ranks fourth all-time in RiverKings SPHL total points with 107.

Mantha fills the roster spot opened after Dillan Fox was waived earlier in the week.

Mantha will wear number 10 tonight as the RiverKings take on the FireAntz in Fayetteville at 6:05 p.m.
