Jr. StreetKings registration opens for fall 2016

HERNANDO, Miss. – The Jr. StreetKings released their 2016 fall season schedule today including a free Learn to Play camp with RiverKings Head Coach Derek Landmesser and changes to start times and age limits.

A free Learn to Play camps led by RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser, will take place on August 23 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. This camp offers an opportunity for potential StreetKings to learn how to skate or to sharpen their skills before the season begins. To register for the camp, contact Zachary Robinson, Jr. StreetKings Director, at zachary@riverkings.com.

The fall season begins September 12 with games played on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays each week with Fridays reserved for make-up games if necessary. Jr. StreetKings is open for registration for all participants ages 3 to 14 years old. All games for the fall season will begin at 6:00 p.m. A full schedule will be released closer to the start of the regular season.

Registration for the fall season will begin July 12 and runs through September 2. Early registrants pay $100 and includes a jersey, 10 regular season games, reserved practice time and a trophy. Those who register after August 15 will pay $110.  The full schedule and registration forms can be found at jrstreetkings.com. The league is under supervision of the Mississippi RiverKings and made possible through generous sponsorships from community partners. Noah’s Gift, 2016 League Sponsor of the Jr. StreetKings, is an endowed fund at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi, and was created to inspire and reward deserving young people with the gift of an extraordinary experience.
