SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- The Huntsville Havoc (24-17-3) scored three power play goals and spoiled Todd Hosmer's two-goal game as they knocked off the Mississippi RiverKings (24-16-3) 3-2 in Southaven on Friday night.

The RiverKings jumped out on top late in the first. Todd Hosmer tallied his first goal of the night on a tic-tac-toe passing play from Leo Thomas and Matt Whitehead to put the RiverKings on top 1-0.

In the second, Huntsville battled back. Just 25 seconds into the middle frame, Nick Lazorko's wrist shot on the power play beat Matt Krahn's glove to tie the game at one. Eight minutes later, Lazorko struck again on the power play, to put the Havoc on top 2-1.

The third period saw the RiverKings tie the game. Todd Hosmer notched his second goal of the game on the power play as he beat Kevin Genoe on the short side to tie the game at two 2:44 into the final frame. But Huntsville came back on Scott Harff's power play goal that beat Krahn high to give Huntsville a 3-2 victory, snapping a five-game losing streak.

Matt Krahn (12-8-3) stopped 17 of 20 shots against in the loss. Kevin Genoe (10-8-1) picked up the win after stopping 47 of 49 shots against.

Following the game, the RiverKings auctioned off special "Pink in the Rink" jerseys. The jersey auction raised over $8,500 for the RiverKings' charitable efforts in the Mid-South region.
