Defenseman Jake Schultz Loaned to ECHL Greenville

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The RiverKings and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser have announced that defenseman Jake Schultz has been loaned to ECHL Greenville.

Through 35 games played the 21-year-old rookie has one goal, two assists, 118 penalty minutes and is minus eight on the season. The Rochester native scored his first professional goal in the game against Evansville on February 9.

Schultz came to Mississippi after playing for the New Jersey Rocket in the EHL. This is his first call up to the ECHL in his first professional season.

In Greenville, Schultz will join his former RiverKings teammates Vytal Cote and Derek Sutliffe.
