Camp Bold Participates in Sticks are for Kids

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss – The RiverKings brought their fundamental and teachings of hockey to the kids at Camp Bold. Mixed in with their art, fitness and music programs the campers got the opportunity to learn stick handling and passing drills. RiverThing made an appearance as well, playing goalie for the kids and getting pictures taken. The last group participated in a six on six game while counselors and RiverKings representatives continued to teach the game.

RiverThing has been increasingly busy this summer as part of the RiverKings ReachOut program, with another Sticks are for Kids stop scheduled for Wednesday at Blann's Martial Arts in Southaven. The RiverKings are committed to helping local charities, church groups, and community programs through their RiverKings ReachOut program. To schedule a mascot appearance for your next event, Sticks are for Kids day for your youth group, or any community appearance which may help your program gain exposure, give a call to Community Development Coordinator TJ Chillot at 662-253-0177.
