Mantha named Easton Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC  – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced Devin Mantha of the Mississippi RiverKings is the Easton Player of the Week for November 9-15. Mantha scored two goals, added two assists and was +3 as he helped the RiverKings split a pair of games and maintain first place in the SPHL. RiverKings to host annual Teddy Bear Toss November 28

Southaven, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings, the longest continually operating sports franchise in the greater Memphis area, will collect new stuffed animals to benefit Toys for Tots during the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday, November 28. Over the last two years, the RiverKings have collected nearly 1000 stuffed toys. This season, the team looks to double that number by collecting 2000 toys that night. Thomas suspended nine games by SPHL

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -  The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Sunday announced the following suspension: Mississippi’s Leo Thomas has been suspended nine games for his actions in Game #26, Mississippi at Pensacola, played on November 11, 2015. RiverKings Winning Streak Snapped at Five

Pensacola, Fla. - The Mississippi RiverKings (5-2-0) had a one-goal lead late in the third period, but the Pensacola Ice Flyers (4-2-0) scored twice late in the game to take the first matchup between the two teams in the season 3-2.
