Thomas, RiverKings sweep FireAntz

FAYETTEVILLE, NC –  Captain Leo Thomas scored twice, including the decisive goal in the third period as the Mississippi RiverKings (31-18-2) beat the Fayetteville FireAntz (20-24-7), 2-1, Sunday afternoon at the Crown Coliseum. RiverKings clinch playoff spot with 3-1 win over FireAntz

Fayetteville, NC – The Mississippi RiverKings (30-18-2) clinched their ninth-straight playoff berth with a 3-1 win over the Fayetteville FireAntz (20-23-7) Saturday night at the Crown Coliseum. Devin Mantha paced the RiverKings offensively in the first period, scoring twice in the first 20 minutes. Fayetteville, NC – The Mississippi RiverKings (29-18-2) rolled past the Fayetteville FireAntz (20-22-7), 4-1, Friday night in their first trip to the Crown Coliseum this season.
