Makeup game set for March 22

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  The Mississippi RiverKings and the Southern Professional Hockey League have announced today that the postponed game between the RiverKings and Huntsville Havoc Feb. 17 has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 3:05 p.m. Tickets purchased for the Feb. 17 date will been good for March 22, or they can be redeemed at the Box Office for any other RiverKings home game the rest of the regular season. Di Salvo, RiverKings shut out Havoc, 3-0

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Peter Di Salvo made 26 saves and the Mississippi RiverKings (24-15-2) shut out the Huntsville Havoc (6-28-7), 3-0, Saturday afternoon at the Von Braun Center. It was Di Salvo’s first career shutout and the first for the RiverKings this season. The RiverKings grabbed the lead early in the first period. RiverKings win seventh straight

LAFAYETTE, La. – The Mississippi RiverKings (23-15-2) scored three unanswered goals in the second period and beat the Louisiana IceGators (20-16-6), 4-2, Friday night at the Cajundome, giving the RiverKings seven straight wins.  With the RiverKings playing their first game since Feb. 7, nearly a two-week layoff, the IceGators grabbed a 1-0 lead less than four minutes into the first. Delisle returns, RiverKings sign two to roster

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  Mississippi RiverKings forward Dan Delisle has been returned from loan in the ECHL, the team announced today. RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser also announced today that the team has signed forward Corey Leivermann and defenseman Dmitry Peremikin. Joey Holka called up to ECHL-Greenville

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  Mississippi RiverKings forward Joey Holka has been loaned to the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL, the team announced today. Holka becomes the fifth RiverKings player to make the jump to the ECHL this season, joining Matt Harrington, Dan Delisle, Dylan Quaile and Bryon Paulazzo.
