Gvora Checks Against Bullying

HERNANDO, Miss. —  RiverKings player Justin Gvora educated the students at Hernando Head Start Center about bullying as part of the RiverKings “Checking Against Bullying” program on January 22. RiverKings reward Bethel Grove Elementary

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –  Bethel Grove Elementary School students were rewarded on January 20 as part of the RiverKings Readers program presented by Belhaven University. Bethel Grove Elementary School read for a combined 51,077 minutes in the month of November winning first place for the month. Sticks Are For Kids Goes to St. Dominic School

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – RiverKings players Reid Campbell, Paul Ciarelli, Dylan Quaile, and Luke Warner taught hockey to the students of St. Dominic School on January 13 and 15. Leo Thomas named Easton Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced Leo Thomas of the Mississippi RiverKings is the Easton Player of the Week for January 12-18.   Thomas scored three goals, including one game-winner, assisted on four others and was +5 as he led the RiverKings to three wins last week. Early goals give RiverKings 2-1 win in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. –  The Mississippi RiverKings (16-14-2) scored twice in the first period and Peter Di Salvo made 26 saves to make those stand in a 2-1 win over the Huntsville Havoc (5-19-5) Sunday night at the Von Braun Center. The RiverKings took the lead 2:35 into the first period. Linden Bahm finished off a scramble in front for his third goal in two nights, giving the RiverKings a 1-0 lead. RiverKings erase 3-0 deficit, win 6-5 in OT

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  The Mississippi RiverKings (15-14-2) rallied from a three-goal deficit, scoring three times in the third, before beating the Fayetteville FireAntz (12-11-6), 6-5 in overtime, Saturday night at the Landers Center.
