RiverKings school Columbus in FaceOff Field Trip game

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  The Mississippi RiverKings (18-15-2) rolled the Columbus Cottonmouths, 5-1, Tuesday afternoon at the Landers Center as part of the RiverKings second FaceOff Field Trip of the season. Students from the Mid-South filled the building to enjoy both a hockey game get lessons in different school subjects through the day. Shorthanded goals propel RiverKings past Rivermen

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  The Mississippi RiverKings (17-15-2) scored two shorthanded goals and used that to get past the Peoria Rivermen (19-11-3), 4-2, at the Landers Center Saturday night.  The RiverKings scored the first of their two shorthanded goals at 12:22 of the first period. Rivermen end RiverKings winning streak at four

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  The Peoria Rivermen (19-10-3) scored once in the first, once in the second and twice in the third while Kyle Rank turned aside 41 shots to beat the Mississippi RiverKings (16-15-2), 4-1, at the Landers Center Friday night. Joey Holka signs with RiverKings

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that the team has signed right wing Joey Holka to a contract. Terms and conditions were not released. Holka, 24, is in his first pro season and played three games with the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL.
