RiverKings announce captains

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. --  Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today the captains for the 2014-15 season. Leo Thomas will resume his role as captain for the second straight season. Matt Whitehead and Andrew Randazzo will serve as assistant captains. RiverKings continue yearlong fundraiser with DeSoto County Schools

RiverKings fall 3-0 in preseason finale

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- The Mississippi RiverKings had 33 shots on goal, but were shut out for the second straight preseason game, losing 3-0 to the Knoxville Ice Bears Sunday afternoon at the Landers Center. The RiverKings controlled play in the first period until the final minute of the frame. RiverKings shut out in exhibition opener

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Mississippi RiverKings (0-1-0) put 31 shots on goal but opened their preseason schedule with a 3-0 loss to the Huntsville Havoc (1-0-1) at the Huntsville IcePlex Saturday night.  After a scoreless first period, in which both teams went 0-for-1 on the power play and had nine shots on goal, the Havoc opened the scoring just over midway through the second. RiverKings jerseys on sale

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- The Mississippi RiverKings announced today that 2014-15 replica game jerseys are now available at the Locker Room store. Youth jerseys are $90 and adult jerseys are $100 and they can be purchased by visiting the RiverKings main office on the second floor of the Landers Center during regular business hours.
