RiverKings announce roster moves including the return of Bradshaw and Moran

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced several roster moves today that included the return of the team's leading goal scorer Mike Moran and the team's point leader Cullen Bradshaw.

Moran, 25, returns to the RiverKings after his time with ECHL Atlanta. Prior to his call-up, the Marshfield, Mass. native was in his first season of professional hockey with the RiverKings. The team's lead goal scorer posted 23 points (14G, 9A) in 19 games that earned him SPHL player of the week for December 12-18 in 2016. The 6-foot-1, 200 pound forward previously played four years at Boston University and tallied 141 games played with 25 points (15G,10A). 

Bradshaw, 26, recently joined the ECHL Adirondack Thunder after leading the SPHL in points for the 2016-2017 season with 29 (19A,10G). The 5-foot-11, 180-pound center played in three games with the Thunder scoring two goals and one assist. The Medicine Hat, Alberta native also recieved action in the recent ECHL All-Star Game where he recorded one assist. In his second year with the team, the center has tallied 30 assists and 24 goals in 50 games with the RiverKings. 

Additionally, the RiverKings placed defenseman Tomas Parizek on the 14-Day IR, traded forward Austin Daae to Columbus, and placed recently-acquired forward Mitchell Vandergunst on team suspension.  

Parizek, 22, is in his first year with the RiverKings. The Czech Republic-native has played in 21 games for Mississippi and nine previously with the Pensocola Ice Flyers for the 2016-2017 season. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound rookie has earned a total of three points (1G,2A) and 21 penalty minutes.
