Donations Policy


The Mississippi RiverKings are dedicated to giving back to the community where our fans live and work. We support the efforts of groups who work with the disadvantaged, youth development, youth sports programs and non-profit organizations. Consideration is given to those organizations who work in the fields of conservation, education, health care, human services and religion.
 
Eligibility for Autographed Memorabilia
 
  • All requests for autographed memorabilia must be for the sole purpose of raising funds for 501(c) 3 charitable organizations in the Mid-South.
  • The Mississippi RiverKings do not donate autographed memorabilia to be used as prizes or volunteer recognition gifts.
 Giveaway Items
  • The RiverKings from time to time will have giveaway items that may be used as prizes or incentive items for classrooms, companies, and special events that are not raising funds for charitable causes.
 Application Process
  • All requests should be submitted in writing on organization letterhead.
  • Requests should be received four (4) weeks in advance of your event.

Each letter should include the following information
1.      Name of requesting organization
2.      Organization’s mission or purpose
3.      Contact name, phone number, address, and e-mail
4.      Nature of the event and date
5.      How your donation will be used (i.e. raffle, silent auction, etc.)
6.      Who will benefit from the proceeds

 
Processing Your Request
  • The RiverKings will make every effort to process your request at least two weeks prior to your event.
  •  Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we ask that no telephone inquiries regarding status of your request.
  •  All organizations will be contacted regardless of approval or decline of your request.
 Due to the high volume of requests we receive each year, please limit your request to one per year in order to help the greatest number of individuals.
